Well life is going great here in our busy life of parenthood. We are having a great time with Lauren and all is going wonderfully with her. She does so many things and has a beautiful personality. She has been walking by herself since she was 11 1/2 months. She says quite a few words and makes us smile on a daily basis. Hope you enjoy the pics I have added to this blog site. I wanted to share a few pics with you as Miss Lauren grows. They are below. We are enjoying all her stages but I must admit she is lots more fun because she can do more. My First Easter!!!

Lauren still thrives and is learning things everyday!!!! We are having so much fun as usual and enjoy all the aspects of parenting. She sleeps thru the night and the really fun part she is a night owl with 2 parents who are morning people!!! My mom thinks this is very funny, she is the same way.

IT'S FINAL

Well, it has been a very long time since I have updated our blog and now I have found the time to do so while she sleeps. : ) Yesterday was AWSOME a definte God Day!!! Allen told Lauren as he was putting her in the car, "you are mine!!! You are my daughter!!!." Not that she wasn't already but in the back of your minds you are in constant prayer that all goes well and nothing holds up such a day as an adoption finalization. As a mom/women I felt and expressed the stress a lot more than Allen but when it was over he let it all out. Funny how God made us different, men and women, I mean. He was ever so strong for the both of us and when I was not having as much faith and trust as I should of he was there to pick me up and then my Heavenly Father was of course always there!!!
We celebrated all day and continually told Lauren that this was her day and I think she knew it!! She was a happy little one all day and crashed at the end of it but only for a short while. For at 1:00 she wanted mom and that was final and I enjoyed the need she had. When I get the pics from this glorious day I will share them with you. Forever praising God for our wonderful gift!!!
